The original N°19 was created by perfumer Henri Robert and launched in 1970, named in honor of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s August 19 birthday. The current Eau de Toilette formulation listed by Fragrantica was introduced in 2023 and retains the signature green-and-iris character of the original.
