Eau des Merveilles by Hermès is a women’s Eau de Toilette fragrance sample with a distinctive woody, amber, citrus, and spicy scent profile. Launched in 2004 and created by perfumers Ralf Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer, this Hermès fragrance combines sparkling orange and lemon with aromatic elemi, warm amber, pepper, woods, vetiver, oakmoss, and benzoin. 

Eau des Merveilles opens with bright orange, elemi resin, and lemon, followed by a warm heart of amber, pepper, pink pepper, and violet. Fir, cedar, Madagascar vetiver, oakmoss, and benzoin create a dry, woody base that gives the fragrance its elegant and slightly mysterious character. Hermès describes the original scent as woody and amber, centered around benzoin, elemi, and bitter orange.
